The terms of the Treaty of Trianon, which left more than half of the Hungarian population outside the country's borders, could not be remedied by Hungary.

So much so that, as far as we can see, the trauma of Trianon continues to live on in Hungarian literature.

The only treaty that could be amended in this table was the Treaty of Sèvres, and the treaty that amended it was the Treaty of Lausanne.
